Last Saturday afternoon provided a notable exception in weather conditions to those which have hitherto prevailed on previous occasions this season when ladies' fixtures were to be decided. The weather was simply delightful, and a very enjoyable afternoon was spent by the lady members of the Mildura Golf Club in foursomes for the Geilhofer Trophy, which was won by Mrs. A. Lever and Miss Hayhurst.

The winners of the ladies foursomes on the golf links last Saturday, Mrs. A. Lever and Miss Hayhurst and of the Geilhofer Trophy, are to be congratulated upon their win and also as being the winners of the elegant and appropriate brooches, which were specially designed by the donor. The brooches took the form of a golf bag lying horizontally, from the mouth of which peeped the heads of several golf clubs.
